WHAT IS TIME & TIME MANAGEMENT?
  • Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and also future.
  • Time management is a process of organizing, planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities - especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency and also productivity.

FIVE STRATEGIES TO DEVELOP A SUCCESSFUL SYSTEM OF STUDY
1. Use a weekly schedule
The first step of setting up a study schedule is choosing a calendar to arrange the schedule on.Students should develop a study schedule where they can block off days and times in their calendar dedicated to studying. Creating a study plan not only helps you become more organized, but it also holds you accountable for your own learning outcomes.

2.Use a daily planner
Daily planner is a plan of things that will be done every day and every hours. With this planner, we can manage our schedule of day wisely. It also can teach us to be more discipline in ourselves.

3.Use a semester calendar
The schedule of events occurring in the academic year; a calendar detailing this, including term times, examination dates, etc.
4.Academic VS social and personal demands
Achieving a balance between academics and social life while in college is challenging. There is no perfect formula for balancing your social life and academics. Each person must find a balance that works for them.

5.Avoid procrastination
We all procrastinate from time to time.Of course people come up with all sorts of creative reasons why now, today, just isn’t the right time. Too busy. Too stressed. Too risky. Too uncertain.Too disruptive. Occasionally those reasons are valid. As students, we should avoid those reasons and finish our works immediately.

COMMON REASONS WHY PEOPLE PROCRASTINATE
🥀Being lazy
🥀Being a perfectionist
🥀Being rebellious
🥀Avoiding failure
🥀Avoiding success

STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION
Know what you should accomplish
Determine deadlines
Use schedule/planners/calendars
Prioritize
Do the unpleasant task first
Change how you think about the task

ADVANTAGES OF BEING ORGANISED
  • If you organize your time well, you will keep on schedule and be  able to meet your deadlines. Deliver on what you have promised is an essential part of any job. So,it is really important to ensure that you are able to deliver your work on time.
  • As students, you shouldn't be really stressed on small things. By being an organised person, you guys can reduce stress that is caused by a feeling lack of control over your work schedule.
  • Ambitious people often spend a substantial amount of time thinking about strategies that will help them achieve greater levels of success. As students, why don't you guys be like those ambitious people so that, you can complete work with less pressure and fulfill your potential.
  • The most important thing of organizing your time well is, you can avoid overlapping assignments and having to juggle more than one piece of work at a time.
